It may be April 1st, but we're chugging along here at Basecamp PDS.

We've got our 6th Streamiversary for the PDSMIX channel coming up on May 6th, but we're in the midst of planning an ALL DAY celebration stream for Saturday May 9th so we can fit in a bunch of special guests. Either way, we'll be partying all week.

We're also approaching 6000 followers. Please continue to spread the word about the PDSMIX channel so we can hopefully hit that goal by (or on) our special week.

Spring is short for us here in TN; not only does it get hotter sooner, but Mashup Summer Camp starts in two months on June 1st. So we'll be aiming to enjoy more of that temperate weather and streaming more on PDSLUX. If you're not already, please make sure you're follwoing that channel.

Speaking of which, Camp Copyright served our merch store with a Cease and Desist and is currently selling their own merch in our webstore. I'm doing everything I can to appeal this takedown, and hope to have it resolved soon.

June 17th Spice J and PDS are hosting a Twitch meetup at Blind Barber in Nashville, and we've got a ton of people coming in from out of town for that one. Chuck DanTana will be joining us on the decks, all the way from San Diego.

The weekend of June 26th, BasicallyGiles and I are headed to Chicago to play Davelapaloza during Pride Weekend. We'll mainly be streaming on the PDSLUX channel as we run around Chi-Town, but Davel will have three days of DJs streaming live from the 'Palooza including a set (or two??) from PDSMIX. Who knows where we'll pop up?! Rumor has it several members of Team Supreme will be flying and driving in to kick it with us. It's gonna be pretty sweet.

But, all of this aside, the New Schedule for spring should keep all of us plenty busy. Disco After Dark & Pizza Party Plus! continue at their regular times, and THE MIX  spreads to Wed & Thurs, getting a slightly later daytime timeslot. This show gives PDS complete creative control to go boldly where no (ok, maybe a few) DJs have gone before, MIXmaxxing his harddrives and vinyl collection.

Brave New Weird remains in the rotation as a monthly show; solidly holding down the 4th Tuesday of every month on WFMU as part of The Wiggle Room inside Sheena's Jungle Room. It's an honor to be streaming via a legendary radio station that shaped my tastes so much. If you missed the last three shows, you can listen to them in their entirety here:
